About Hagan Scholarship Foundation

The Hagan Scholarship Foundation 2024-2025 is a nationwide need-based scholarship program for US Citizens or Green Card holder students to pursue Undergraduate, Master’s degree programs. This scholarship provides recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Hagam Scholars have attended over 500 colleges and universities located in 48 states.

The Hagan Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2008 by Dan and Cheryl Hagan. The primary aim of this scholarship is to provide scholarships to high-achieving students from rural areas in the United States who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship offers a wide range of programs in different fields including; Undergraduate, Graduate, and PhD. degree program and offers up to $60,000, and $30,000 for undergraduates and graduates degree program. This fund helps with tuition, fees, books, housing, and other college expenses. Each student gets any earnings from their HSF Schwab Account, up to $10,000.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation Benefits/Coverage

  1. Undergraduate Scholarship: Up to $60,000.
  2. Graduate Scholarship: Up to $30,000.
  3. Free Workshops to learn important life skills.
  4. Other Benefits:
    • First Year: $1,000 to purchase essential items for college.
    • Second Year: $100 to establish a Personal Schwab Brokerage Account. $10,000 HSF Schwab Account to manage.
    • Third Year: $15,000 HSF Schwab Account to manage. Up to $8,000 to Study/Travel abroad.
    • Fourth Year: $20,000 HSF Schwab Account to manage.
  5. After Graduation: Each recipient receives all gains in their managed HSF Schwab Account, up to $10,000.

Eligibility Criteria for Hagan Scholarship Foundation

  • Applicants must be a U.S citizen or have a Green Card (Permanent Resident Card)
  • Applicants must attend a high school located in the United States. High school Can be a public, private, charter, magnet, or STEM school
  • Applicants must be in the high school graduating class
  • Applicants must enroll in an eligible four-year not-for-profit College or University the first semester following high school graduation.
  • Applicants must maintain a four-year or less graduation schedule in college or complete or complete the equivalent of a four-year degree if in a professional program.
  • Finalist applicants must provide a copy of their FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS).
  • Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.
  • Must not have a felony conviction.
